Privacy Policy

Copper Steady LLC is committed to being transparent about how we collect and use information. This policy describes what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
From you when you submit an inquiry or become a client
When you submit the contact form on coppersteady.com or go through onboarding, we collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your email address and phone number
- Your business location or service area
- Your trade or industry and approximate inbound call volume
- Any additional details you include in your inquiry
Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. Copper Steady does not store full payment card numbers or ACH account numbers directly.
From callers when the service handles calls on your behalf
When Copper Steady handles overflow calls for a client business, we collect information provided by the caller:
- Caller name and phone number
- Description of the service request
- Appointment details, including address, and requested date or time
This information is collected to fulfill the service. Copper Steady processes it on behalf of the client business. The client business, as the party directly serving its customers, is responsible for its own disclosures to those customers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the five active service outcomes: overflow call handling, missed-call text recovery, appointment booking and confirmation, appointment reminders, and daily morning brief
- Contact you about your inquiry, account, and service
- Send SMS messages and place calls as part of service delivery
- Book appointments through your connected calendar
- Generate and deliver your daily morning briefing by email
- Review call quality and verify service accuracy
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
Calls, Recordings, and Transcripts
Calls handled through the Copper Steady service may be recorded and transcribed. Recordings and transcripts are used for service delivery, quality review, and documentation purposes. Callers are informed of recording at the start of each call.
Recordings and transcripts are retained for up to 12 months from the date of the call, then deleted.
SMS Communications and Opt-Out
When you submit an inquiry or become a Copper Steady client and provide consent, we may send you SMS messages related to your inquiry and service. When the service handles overflow calls on your behalf, text messages may also be sent to your customers as part of missed-call recovery and appointment reminders.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message sent by or through the Copper Steady service. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that number.
For help: Reply HELP to receive a message with contact information and instructions.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of using the Copper Steady service.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following providers to deliver the Copper Steady service. Each is responsible for its own data practices under its own privacy policy. We share information with these providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the service.

Copper Steady does not use advertising or analytics tracking on this website. Third-party providers listed above may use cookies or similar technologies in connection with their own services.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations:
- Website contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the date of submission
- Call recordings and transcripts: up to 12 months from the date of the call
- Lead and appointment records: for the duration of the client relationship and for 90 days following termination
- SMS send records: up to 12 months from the send date
After the applicable retention period, personal information is deleted or anonymized. Payment records are retained as required by applicable law and our payment processor.
Your Rights
You may contact us at alek@coppersteady.com to:
- Request a summary of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
If you are a caller whose information was collected through the service, please contact the contractor business that handled your call. Copper Steady processes caller information on the contractor's behalf, and requests related to it should be directed to that business.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients. The current version is always available at coppersteady.com/privacy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
